Murder suspect arrested by Calgary Police

A suspect wanted in the December murder of Darren Paul George has been arrested in Calgary. 

On December 7, police were called to the 700 block of Beverly Street after shots were fired. Officers located 22-year-old Darren Paul George injured. He was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

After an investigation, police identified two suspects wanted in connection with the murder. One, Cody Joseph Kakeeway was arrested on January 14 by Swift Current RCMP. 

On Thursday, Calgary Police arrested the other suspect, 19-year-old Chance Moses Guimond. 

Winnipeg police are making arrangements for Guimond to be returned to Winnipeg.
